Prepare For Swim Lessons

To ensure a safe and enjoyable swim lesson experience, please follow these preparation guidelines:

Wear a Rash Guard:

We ask that our swimmers wear a short or long sleeve rash guard. This not only helps Coach Sarah but also keeps the little swimmer more comfortable in the water, as it can get chilly at times.

Avoid Food and Liquids Before Lessons:

Please refrain from giving your child any food or liquids 2 hours before swim lessons. We believe in happy tummies, and new swimmers often take in more air than usual, which can cause discomfort if their stomachs are full.

No Floating Devices:

Please do not bring any floating devices, puddle jumpers, or life jackets to the lessons. Our goal is for each swimmer to develop their own skills and confidence in the water.

No Swim Goggles:

It’s important that each swimmer learns how to open their eyes and see underwater. This is ultimately for their safety, helping them become more comfortable and aware of their surroundings in the water.

Following these guidelines will help ensure that your child gets the most out of their swim lessons and stays safe and comfortable. If you have any questions or need further information, feel free to contact us. We’re excited to help your child dive into a fun and rewarding swim experience!
